POKER JARGON EXPLAINED


Pocket Cards:
The two cards you get start of a hand.

Sell:
To make small bets in the hope of getting called from a player with a lesser hand.

Slowplay: To not bet or raise with a very strong hand.

Stack:
The amount of chips a player has.

Suited Connectors:
Two cards of consecutive rank and the same suit.

Tell:
Quirk or action a player makes that will reveal their hand.

Tilt: When a player's emotions negatively affect their judjment.

Here’s how it works:

For events 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 play 50¢/$1 stakes or higher in any game at Pacific Poker’s Real Money tables with no less than three other members.

You’ll receive Poker Points for each showdown* you reach as follows:

Omaha 2 Points
Stud 2 Points

At the end of each event, the 100 members who accumulate the most Poker Points will each receive a bonus (see above)! These 100 members will also be automatically entered in the Showdown Grand Finale (see below)

Are you one of the survivors from Pacific Poker Showdown Survivor Series Events 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5? If the answer is yes, then today is yPacific Poker chance to survive to the end and Pacific Poker $2,500 first prize!

Here’s how it works:

Play $2/$4 stakes or higher in any game at Pacific Poker's Real Money tables with no less than three other members. You'll receive Poker Points as follows:

Texas Holdem 1 Point
Omaha 2 Points
Stud 2 Points

At the end of the event, the 5 members who accumulate the most points will be credited with bonuses as follows:
